Our representative welcomes you at Queen Alia International Airport and assists you through the formalities of immigration and customs to ensure your arrival is as comfortable as possible. Afterward, you will meet your driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Amman for overnight.
Amman - Baptism Site - Dead Sea - Panoramic city tour of Amman - Amman overnight
After breakfast, visit the Baptism Site of Jesus Christ on the Jordan River, historically known as Bethany beyond the Jordan, one of Christianity's holiest sites. Referred to as 'Maghtas' in Arabic, the Baptism Site stands as a crucial recent discovery in biblical archaeology. (Baptism ceremony could be arranged upon request). Next, enjoy a unique experience at the Dead Sea, renowned for its natural wonders. Apply the revitalizing black mud and float in its salty waters. Later, enjoy panoramic Amman city tour. Then, transfer to the hotel for overnight.
Amman - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Mukawer - Um Rasas - Petra Overnight
After breakfast, you will be transferred to visit Madaba, the « City of Mosaics”, and its “Church of the Map” (Mass could be arranged upon request at one of churches). You will continue along in same route to Mount Nebo, where Moses spent his last moments before dying. You can imagine yourself at his place, observing the Promised Land. Continue to Mukawer, which is known in biblical times as Machaerus, where had been a great palace where Herod Antipas imprisoned and killed John the Baptist. Continue to reach the hilltop over a path where you can still see towers, walls and baths. Proceed to Umm Rasas The site has been allied to the biblical settlement of Mephaat mentioned in the Book of Jeremiah. The Roman military utilized the site as a strategic garrison. Then, back to the hotel in Petra where you will spend the night.
Petra Full Day Tour - Amman
